Helen was very friendly and organised, she always sorted our orders for dinner breakfast and lunch before hand. We felt welcomed and didn't feel out of place. My room was very comfortable it was missing a kettle but there were tea and coffee stations around which was convenient. I would recommend this hotel as I felt standards were very high.
Really lovely friendly check in. Rooms well equipped. Leisure was ok could probably do with an update. Bar / restaurant service was really good. One of our party had allergies and we were very well looked after and informed of menu choices.
A friend and I stayed at Sedgebrook Hall to read the final book of a series together. We stayed two nights and it was the most perfect venue for it! We spent our time moving from the sofa in the bar to various other seating areas. The pool isn't full-size but fine for us as we just wanted to float about after the emotional stress of the book! Would very much recommend staying here and Helen was an absolute treasure and made our stay feel more personal.
We came here for an overnight stay, upon arriving the scenery well there was not much to see. Checking in we were updated of all things necessary. Our walk to our hotel room was quite a way away, but was not an issue. The lounge/bar area their was plenty of choice where to sit, with a quick service. When we arrived there was a wedding party and we had to walk through the bar too gain access to rooms, which I thought was strange but wasn’t a problem. Maybe a separate section could be considered for guests to walk through away from the wedding party as it almost feels a bit intrusive. The leisure centre you are required to sign in at reception whereby you are provided with towels and given a key card to gain access to changing rooms. I would advise to do this at check in as you will be walking back upon yourself. Upon reaching the changing rooms the lockers do not work so my advise would be to leave valuables in room. The swimming pool is a bit on the small side and wasn’t of a warm temperature but manageable once inside pool moving around. If you wanna get warm after coming out the pool go into the sauna. The hotel room itself was clean and tidy, the only downside was the hot water wasn’t very hot at all and the shower room itself was very cold. The tv was not working for us, there were facilities to use kettle etc to make coffee/tea. The restaurant area at dinner was nice and service was amazing, staff are very friendly. Shoutout goes to Helen and Jacob for their excellent service. Breakfast was great with an English fry up, pastries and hot/ cold drinks as well as fresh fruits available.
Experience was great. Good food, location and service, especially from Helen! Only negative was the room felt a bit unserviced before we arrived, with very limited toilet paper (!) and crumbs on the table. Also bare minimum teabags. Would definitely come again though. Good value on the winter break special offer.
A friendly hotel with all the amenities including a gym and lots of free parking. My room had a comfy bed, a hot shower and was very clean. String WiFi also much appreciated. The bar area was perfect to sit and work at my laptop and the woman behind the bar was super friendly. I hope she enjoys her well earned holiday! My thanks to Adam who couldn't have been more helpful when I reported a lost item. He is a credit to the company.
Service was absolutely amazing, Olivia and manager was very attentive and helpful. The meal was on point, beautiful flavours seeping through each mouthful. We are repeat customers at sedgebrook hall as we know the service and the atmosphere is second to none. Helen is our favourite member of staff we look forward to seeing her and she always remembers us which makes all the difference. Michelle has been our server at dinner for most of our stays and she aswel makes us feel comfortable. Would recommend a stay here and we are also considering using here for our wedding
